Lace jacket - c/o JUNAROSE / Shorts + Glasses (similar) - Asos / Shoes - New Look / Hat + Bracelet - Asos (old)

Show off your legs! This is my device for this summer. I am definitely going to take this in hand. I have noticed that I have always payed rather little attention to my legs. But why actually? Because they are fat? Because they have cellulite, maybe some varicoses and maybe because my knees aren’t really the most beautiful? Well who gives a damn? By all means I don’t and what others think about me is not my business anymore, that’s what I have learnt. This summer I will celebrate my legs. I will wear shorts till I drop. I will let my thighs see some sunlight. I just don’t see why shorts should only be for the ones with skinny legs. Only because society has declared fat legs not worthy of being seen? Not on my watch! I don’t tell a person with less beautiful teeth not to smile anymore so that I won’t have to deal with it… and who would I be deciding on what is beautiful and not? And nobody else would ever dare to do such thing, but pointing out what is appropriate for fat people to wear, well THAT’S socially respected. I’m sorry, but that’s so wrong in so many ways! And I will refuse to give in by showing my pale and fat wobbly legs to everyone who doesn’t want to see it!
So now to the outfit ;) Isn’t this jacket just a dream come true? I wanted to have a white lace jacket so badly, one that’s made completely out of crochet lace. The cut of the jacket is short, neat and small. You can wear it beautifully combined with a top or a shirt as a jacket and you can wear it as a shirt by closing it, just as I did it for this outfit. Junarose also has a matching lace short at their online shop which is really nice for an allover crochet lace look. But I knew immediately that I wanted to combine it with leather. I really love combining a rough lace to either leather of denim and I think it definitely is a must-have look for this summer.

Zeigt her eure Beine!
