Dressing Outside The Box: simplicity

The ones who have been following me for a while now probably know that I am totally into clean and simple looks. No, I am obsessed. I just feel that a simple outfit, but well thought-out, can draw more attention than any other. The brilliancy behind these outfits might not occur to everyone... and there is also this thing with different types of tastes... but it really attracts me a lot.
Also there is heading a new trend towards us and it is coming from beautiful Japan. But not the colourful, girly manga look... rather a tradionally inspired japanese look interpreted in a new, highly modern way. You see lots of wrapped elements, mao collars, obi belts, very clean, straight and widely cut pieces with very high side slits and lots of mixed materials. The look is in total very architectural with also some beautiful pleat and origami folded details.
This is also what has inspired me to style this look. I know it's not very japanese but it is definately picking up the spirit of this new trend. I am already curious if we will get these kind of pieces for plus size. Zara has already got the first styles, but yet Zara is the only one able to sense great trends and to implement them very quickly. Another proof that we finally need Zara to overcome their ego and to offer us plus size clothes. But the same clothes as from the existing range... pretty please?!!

Diejenigen, die mich bereits seit einer Weile hier begleiten, wissen sicherlich, dass ich total auf cleane und simple Looks abfahre. Ach was, ich bin besessen! Ich denke einfach, dass ein simples aber gut durchdachtes Outfit so viel mehr Aufmerksamkeit erregen kann als jedes Andere. Die Genialität die hinter solch einem Outfit liegt erkennt vielleicht nicht jeder... und dann ist ja noch die Sache mit den unterschiedlichen Geschmäckern... aber mich spricht sowas unglaublich an.
Dann gibt es da noch ein neuer Trend, der auf uns zukommt und zwar direkt aus dem wunderschönen Japan. Aber nicht etwa der mega bunte, mädchenhafte Manga Look, sondern vielmehr ein vom traditionellen Japan geprägten Look, komplett neu und hoch modern umgesetzt. Man sieht ganz viele Wickelelemente die an Kimonos erinnern, Mao Krägen, Obi Gürtel, aber alles extrem clean und etwas weiter geschnitten. Oft mit sehr hohen seitlichen Schlitzen und im Material Mix. Der Look ist im Ganzen recht architektonisch mit wunderschönen Faltendetails und an Origami erinnernde Drapierungen.
Dieser Trend hatte mich auch zu diesem Outfit inspiriert. Ich weiß, es ist nicht sehr japanisch, aber es greift dennoch den Grundgedanken des Trends auf. Ich bin gespannt ob wir diesen Trend überhaupt in der Plus Branche begrüßen dürfen. Zara hat bereits die ersten Styles im Online Shop, aber man muss auch sagen, dass Zara einfach großartig und einzigartig darin ist neue Trends zu erkennen und sie dann auch so schnell wie möglich umzusetzen. Noch ein Grund mehr wieso Zara endlich seinen Stolz überwinden und mehr Größen anbieten sollte. Aber dann bitte nur die selben Artikel wie aus der bestehenden Kollektion... bitte bitte ?!!
